Food: Sen of Thai @ Damansara Uptown

Recently, I was invited for a blogger's gathering organised by Tap by Seeties. Now that I'm part of Seeties, it's fun to be able to meet and mingle with so many other bloggers especially during gatherings like that. So, if you're a blogger yourself too, come on and be part of TAP by Seeties.

Anyway, the gathering that I've attended was held at Sen of Thai, Damansara Uptown. Knowing that it'll be Thai food, I immediately agreed to go without any doubt!

While waiting for the rest of the bloggers to arrive, I decided to go round and take a few shots of the place.

The comfy and cozy surrounding suitable for friends and family gathering

You can even have a corner for yourself if you wish to have a little privacy for you and your love ones :)

It's finally time to eat! Being a foodie myself, I always look forward to times when there is food especially food that I love a lot!

A top view of everything that we had during the gathering. Next, allow me to introduce to you some of my favourites among them!

Soups

Tom Yum Goong
RM28

How can you miss this pot of tomyum especially when you're having Thai food right? This was one of the best tomyum I have ever tried here in KL. I love the perfect balance of sour and spicy and the generous amount of chickens, mushrooms and other ingredients in it. Just the bowl to satisfy your tomyum cravings!

Thai baked mussels in claypot with basil leaves
RM29

The soup taste was excellent having the perfect balance of sour and spicy which is just nice to my taste buds. The mussels was just nicely cooked as it was still chewy and nice!

Appetizers

Steamed prawn topped with lime chilli sauce
RM16

Prawn was nicely steamed as it still contain the moisture in it which makes it very bouncy & fresh. However, I personally find this dish a tad bit spicy to my likings as cut chillies are also added on the prawn for an extra "oom" to it! Be sure to remove them if you can't take spicy!

Crab Spring Roll
RM16

This has a very crispy skin on the outside complimented by some fresh crab meat as the stuffings! Eaten best with the chilli sauce dip at the side!

Yam Spring Roll
RM12

Mains

Stir fried brocolli with scallops
RM24

Chinese style stir fried brocolli with generous portion of scallops to topped it off!

Deep Fried Siakap with Signature Thai Chilli sauce
RM55

I've always like deep fried fishes especially more when they are fresh! In addition to the crispy skin on the surface, you can also taste the sweetness and freshness of  the flesh beneath it. A dish totally to go for! Complimented well with the Signature Thai Chilli Sauce which gives it some extra boost to it!

Sizzling beef with black pepper sauce
RM20

Cranberry Pineapple fried rice
RM16

Classic Pad Thai
RM15

Desserts

 Tab Tim Krob  (RM8.50)
&
Sago Honeydew(RM8.50)

Whenever I visit a Thai restaurant, I will be definitely on the look out for this dessert! Tab Tim Krob (Water Chestnut) served with shaved ice, jack fruits and soaked with sweetened coconut milk. Just refreshing!

Royal Thai Look Chop
RM12 for 6 pieces

Last but not least, Sen of Thai serves good food while providing great surrounding and comfortable ambience for it's patrons. If you're looking for a place with comfy and cozy environment while satisfying your Thai food cravings, head on to Sen of Thai @ Damansara Uptown.
