Season's Greetings & Welcome The New Year at The Armada Petaling Jaya!

Once again, it's time to experience the magic of Christmas together! Share this wonderful season of festivities with friends, family and colleagues over a sumptous meal in a beautifully decorated venue prepared by the team at Utara Coffee House at the Armada Petaling Jaya Hotel.

Yet another place I recently came across which offer Christmas & New Year Buffet dinner specials! Previously, I've been to Big Apple @ Berjaya Times Square (link as below) which also offer Christmas specials during this festive season!

With the extensive range of delicious salads and fresh seafood, traditional Christmas meats and decedents desserts, expect to dig in in to a range of choices including the Roasted Turkey with Chestnut, Dried Fruits and Bread stuffing and all the trimmings, Crustacean mushroom, roast duck roulade with coconut oil drizzle, gratinated oyster with spinach, beef meat loaf with Glazed shallots, Crab Cannelloni and pumpkin & Hazelnut pilaf rice to name a few.

The meal would not be complete without indulging in some dessert favourites such as Christmas Pudding with Custard sauce, the classic Yule Log Cake, Fruit mince pies, and a delicious Lemon Meringue Pie.

You can also opt to go to "The Merchant" located just above Utara Coffee house for a drink (or two) before your dinner while enjoying the performance!

In a nut shell, a little humble little opinion from me, Armada Hotel offers a wide range of food and a great place to celebrate this coming festive seasons especially with it's LIVE PERFORMANCE by Roy Chew and Christmas Carolling by THE CITY TARBENACLE CAROLERS on Christmas Eve to set the mood right for the night :)

BBQ Buffet Dinner @ Royale Songket Restaurant Grand Bluewave Hotel Shah Alam

My foodie friends and I visited the Royale Songket Restaurant, Grand Bluewave Hotel Shah Alam recently to try out their BBQ Buffet dinner. They introduced their BBQ Buffet Dinner recently which offer a varieties of fresh chicken, lamb, beef and seafood including many hot dishes. It's available on every Friday & Saturday starting from 6.30PM till 10.30PM. The pricing for the buffet is at the end of this post! :)

Such a comfy and spacious environment to dine in here at Grand Bluewave Hotel, Shah Alam

Seafood on ice which consist of half shell NZ green mussels, crabs, oysters, prawns and black mussels.

They do have a pretty wide range for appetizers here at Royale Songket. There are salads, tossed mozzarella cheese, tomato & basil salad rice salad, dressings and condiments and much more!

Here at Royale Songket, they provide a wide variety of sauces for us patrons to go with our food which I particularly love it! Especially fresh mussels and prawns with thousand island sauce!

You can also opt to start off your appetizers with a warm bowl of soup to get your appetite going!

Here comes the main and highlight of the night - The Grills of meats and seafoods! They offer Malaysian hot place chicken satay with condiments, chicken yakitori skewers, sirloin steak, jumbo chicken sausage, grilled seasonal squid, marinated fish fillet wrapped with banana leaf and many more!

Fried Kuey Teow here is pretty amazing too! I love the taste and how it has sufficient "wok hei" in it!

Last but not least, to end our meal, we had some of their desserts.

Complimented with a cup of coffee or tea

Not to forget, that they also have this popcorn making machine here! Their popcorn here is fresh, crunchy and just the right balance of sweetness in it! I alone had 5 bowls of it! HAHA!

In a nutshell, if you and your family or friends is looking for some comfort food with great entertainment on the weekends, you will be in for a treat with this BBQ dinner buffet offering fantastic cuisin at Royale Songket Restaurant - Just the perfect alternative to your weekend dinner!
