FOOD: Resort Seafood Restaurant @ Resort World Hotel, Genting Highlands, Pahang

Genting Highlands has always been a 'to-go-to' place for gatherings and especially families! A conducive yet complete place with hotels, casinos, theme park, shopping complex with restaurants, entertainment for ALL AGES!

What's better now is that you can now enjoy your hot pot here at RESORT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT. It's always near to perfect having a tasty pot of goodness especially being at 1800 meter above sea level, velvety  night with a nip in the mountain air. Crispy cool days that unfold from misty downs.

Located at 1st floor @ Resort Hotel, You can now enjoy the invigorating pleasure of do-it-yourself cooking, up in the air, at the newly ravamped Resort Seafood Restaurant, with friends and family. This spacious, relaxed and comfortable ambience takes the hotpot experience to a whole new level, far and above the sweaty mood of chowing in the lowlands heat!

Herbal Chicken Soup

The talking point of a hearthy steamboat get-together are always it's freshness, variety and broth used in a pot of steamboat is very essential. Therefore, Chef Lai Kok Yeow and his kitchen team is very picky with ingredients, soup stocks and sauces used here in Resort Seafood Restaurant.

Diners can trade up to more exclusive choices such as the rock fish head stock that has been brewed for hours to create a soup that is clear and rich with fragrant mild fishy taste and the Kampong Chicken Soup, prepared from premium fowl for the best chicken soup for the soul!

Varieties of sauces for diners

No less than 20 different sauces are freshly prepared, every day. Diners can sample and mix a variety of unique flavors - from smoothly light soya sauce to premium oyster sauce, green chilli sauce to fiery, slow burning chili oil - that enhance the succulence and taste of their favourite steamboat items.

Thai Green Chilli

This was my choice of sauce of the night! Being a typical malaysian myself, I love eating my steaboat with some spicy sauces. This sauce has got the kick in it to give me a spicy-licious meal!

We were treated to a Steamboat Set for 8 pax priced at RM456 ( for genting member) and RM502 ( for non-genting members).Temptation is hard to resist, with the spread of meats, seafood, vegetables and mushrooms and kitchen- fresh dumplings and balls, tossed in, to your heart's delight. It is truly a feast fit for a King!

Besides, they also offer set steamboat menus ranging from RM108 nett to RM638 nett ( 2 - 8 pax, members/non-member prices vary), and a la carte dining ( priced by items).
