#Foodpost: Having my coffee fixed @ The Artcoffee, Bangsar South

Recently as I was strolling around Bangsar South with my foodie friends looking for a place to dine over dinner, I came across this cozy and modern looking cafe - The artcoffee located on the 1st floor of Nexus, Bangsar South.

They also has Free Mocktails here. For more information, check with their friendly staffs :)

The Artcoffee aims to brings about a cozy and comfy place for its patrons to get their coffee fixed. Accompanied with its Fast Broadband available here makes it a great place to hangout and work! Also,  many different corners which are also "insta-worthy"! A great place to update your social medias!

Let's get to the main reason of visiting this cafe! We ordered some of their popular starter dishes

House Salad
RM13

We decided to go with a refreshing plate of salad to start off our dinner! I particularly like the bits and pieces of dried cherry which give this dish a tinge of sweetness in every bite. Consist of lolo Rosso, lolo Bienda, purple cabbage, capsicum, tomato salsa, walnut, dried cherry drizzled with special house dressing to top it off!

Soup for the Soul
RM 13

Followed by a warm soup for some comfort after a long day at work which consist of generous amount of classic chicken and broccoli.

Chili Cheese Fries
RM14

I have always been attracted to Chili Cheese Fries! I will tend to order it whenever I see them on the menu! Haha! #fatlife . The minced meat sauce with the cheese sauce is amazing! However, I personally thought that the fries is a little over-cooked tonight. Otherwise, its Good!

Mains!

Smoked Salmon Napoletana
RM25

Moving on, we had some pastas as our main. Started off with this Smoked Salmon Napoletana. Consist of smoked salmon slices, garlic, basil, cream, tomato coulis, broccoli floret, olives and button mushrooms. Patrons can also opt for spaghetti if preferred. I love this dish a lot as it has a great combinations of salty and spiciness to it. The portion is pretty generous as well as I thought it might be enough for 2 pax.

Seafood Marinara
RM23

To those prefer tomato based pastas, here's a dish for you! Consist of prawns, green mussels and squid.

Chicks
RM28

Baked boneless chicken leg stuffed with carrot, spring onions, mushroom paste and mozarella, on top of yellow-spiced mash serve with Chef's signature sauce.

Steak Diane
RM38

Herbs Baked Lamb Rack
RM45

This is my another favourite here at The Artcoffee! Herbs Baked Lamb Rack - Baked to Medium well lamb rack, accompanied with carrot puree, cherry tomatoes and chic peas served with garlic mashed and signature cherry sauce. Whenever you drop by The Artcoffee, I would strongly suggest you to try this tasty rack of lamb! However, I personally thought I could eat 2 of this!

Coffee & Desserts

Cafe Mocha
RM15
Cappuccino
RM14

Ended our dinner that night with some coffee and desserts! We were very satisfied with the coffee served here by The Artcoffee. As expected, the coffee here is pretty good with the right temperature and a thick layer of foam on its cappuccino.

Coffee Rasberry Parfait
RM12

Service: 7/10 - Good!

#foodpost: Vanilla Cafe Express @ IOI City Mall

This week, I had the opportunity to travel to Putrajaya with my friends for a gathering and we came across this newly open cake kiosk - Vanilla Cafe Express @ IOI City Mall that serves mille crepe cakes and drinks. Just the perfect spot for tea time!

Here's the picture of the kiosk located just right next to Tony Romas

To start off, we ordered 6 different flavours to share. We took advantage of the on-going promotion they were having on that day which is RM4 for a slice of cake which I think its very reasonable for a piece of mille crepe.

 Midnight Chocolate
An indulgence made with Belgium Chocolate

Oreo Crunch
Bittersweet matcha with a touch of creamy sweet white chocolate

Uji Matcha Green Tea
A ceremonial grade Uji Matcha infused into every layer of crepes

This is in fact one of my favourites among all, I can taste the perfect balance of green tea between every later of the mille crepe and its not too sweet either. Just the right amount of sweetness! To matcha lovers like myself, you'd not want to miss this slice!

Italian Tiramisu
An Italian blend of cocoa powder & coffee

Lemon Cheese
A vibrant mix of lemon and cheese

Salted Caramel
Where sweetness & saltiness intertwines within each layer

Salted Caramel has always been my to go to flavour whenever it comes to cakes and desserts! This slice served here at Vanilla Cafe Express certainly did not disappoint me. So, do try it out whenever you're dropping by!

Ice Chocolate

Last but not least, I've also tried their Ice Chocolate drink here at Vanilla Cafe Express to wash down the mille crepe.

FOOD: Madame Waffle @ Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur

Great news to all Waffles lover out there!!! Do read on if you're one!

Artisan Liege Waffles baked with Premium Japanese ingredients for your dining pleasure

Madame Waffle is no longer a foreign brand ever since May 2015, the brand launched its 3rd store in The Gardens Mall. Today, Madame Waffle is proud to announce their new branch recently opened at Mid Valley Megamall (same floor as GSC Cinemas new location).

Great place to hangout with friends and family

Spacious and comfortable settings of the place. The only turn off here is that it's located beside the arcade game center where it might get a little noisy when the arcade center is pack especially during school holidays.

Ice Belgian Chocolate
RM12.50

For those non-coffee drinker, this would be the drink for you while your coffee lover friends enjoys their cuppa. A very smooth and "chocola-tie" feel which has a slight coffee after taste. Just perfectly unique and it was one of my favourite of the night!

 Dark Chocolate Mocha Hot
RM11.00

Madame Waffle aims to bring about a concept of waffle & coffee with the intention to enhance the snack industry in Southeast Asia. Therefore, here at Madame Waffle, they serve 100% Arabica coffee beans, specialty grade coffee. However, last month, Chye Yuan Feng (barista at Madame Waffle), Winner of 2013 Aeropress Championship and his team decided to give its patrons a higher quality coffee by roasting a new blends with some other expensive beans.

One of my favourite of the night! Madame Waffle has one of the best Tiramisu in town! Love how the strawberries, tiramisu and waffles blend and compliments each other!

One this i've got to admit here is that, Madame waffle has pretty good plating skills.

Tiramisu Waffle
