Welcome to FATSBYJASON! Extra-ordinary dreams to travel the world and have a great affection towards food!
fatsbyjason.blogspot.com is a platform for me to share my travelling experiences, my love for food and everything that's related to it.
This week, I had the opportunity to travel to Putrajaya with my friends for a gathering and we came across this newly open cake kiosk - Vanilla Cafe Express @ IOI City Mall that serves mille crepe cakes and drinks. Just the perfect spot for tea time!
Here's the picture of the kiosk located just right next to Tony Romas
To start off, we ordered 6 different flavours to share. We took advantage of the on-going promotion they were having on that day which is RM4 for a slice of cake which I think its very reasonable for a piece of mille crepe.
Midnight Chocolate
An indulgence made with Belgium Chocolate
Oreo Crunch
Bittersweet matcha with a touch of creamy sweet white chocolate
Uji Matcha Green Tea
A ceremonial grade Uji Matcha infused into every layer of crepes
This is in fact one of my favourites among all, I can taste the perfect balance of green tea between every later of the mille crepe and its not too sweet either. Just the right amount of sweetness! To matcha lovers like myself, you'd not want to miss this slice!
Italian Tiramisu
An Italian blend of cocoa powder & coffee
Lemon Cheese
A vibrant mix of lemon and cheese
Salted Caramel
Where sweetness & saltiness intertwines within each layer
Salted Caramel has always been my to go to flavour whenever it comes to cakes and desserts! This slice served here at Vanilla Cafe Express certainly did not disappoint me. So, do try it out whenever you're dropping by!
Ice Chocolate
Last but not least, I've also tried their Ice Chocolate drink here at Vanilla Cafe Express to wash down the mille crepe.
So recently I've been around IOI City
Mall with my foodie friends over the weekend to explore the mall as it's
my first time there. We had a late breakfast are we are looking for
some snacks to munch on after the hours of walking around. We ended up
at Ice Bucket located on level 2, IOI City Mall.
We
checked out the menu and we found out this Ice Bucket concept is very
unique and we have never seen it in any other cafes or eateries before.
Ice Bucket boast on their gigantic and monstrous dessert bucket and its
instaworthy! It is best to be shared among friends and family of 4!
Look at the size of the bucket here!
Among the choices that's available are.......
Ice Chocolate Bucket
RM29.90
Ice Strawberry bucket
RM29.90
Ice Fruit Bucket
RM29.90
This
ice fruit bucket is my favourite among all the dessert buckets
available here. It has various different fruits which makes it colorful
and look great on pictures! Consist of red dragon fruits, generous
amount of strawberries, strawberry flakes, well blended strawberry
cookies crumbs and topped with yam ice cream for a perfect finish!
Well, the staff there was very nice as he saw us having difficulty mixing the bucket, he came and helped us with it.
Besides their in-famous dessert buckets, if you're looking for some snacks, they also serve some mains too!
Chicken Burger
Prawn Noodle
RM11.90
IB Signature Dip Spicy Sour Fried Chicken
RM6.88
Meatballs
Here's almost all of our food :)
In
a nutshell, if you're looking for some dessert place around IOI City
Mall, Ice bucket would be idea! Great place for family and friends
gathering with its huge dessert bucket, best for sharing among 4 - 5
pax. Not to mention, the prices here are also very reasonable! Do
remember to drop by and let me know your comments!

As Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, many look forward to the moon cake, which is almost synonymous with the annual celebration. This year, D’king, a premium durian mooncake brand, introduces its vegetarian snow skin musang king durian mooncake, which are handmade and does not contain preservatives and artificial flavouring. Instead, it is packed with the highest-grade Musang King durians sourced from Pahang. It is the perfect gift for corporate clients and for the family this coming Mid-Autumn Festival.
Perfect treat for this year's Mid Autumm Festival 2015
RM218 ( Gift box of 4 x 2 boxes)
Promotion price - RM98
“Unlike most mooncakes, which utilise processed filling, D’king mooncake is prepared with actual Musang King durian flesh. Once the durians arrive, the durian is peeled and flesh is removed immediately to prepare the mooncake filling stage. This is to preserve the aroma and taste of the durian as waiting for too long would allow the durian to break open on it's own losing it's freshness.
D24 durian last year was very well recerved, so this year, D'King decided to go for the most premium durian! The Musang King! It was selected for it's creamy and sticky flesh with it's strong scent and flavour that melts in your mouth!
The delicate snow skin that is light-textured yet uniquely bouncy is what gives it some extra kick to it! The skin also has to be thin enough to emphasize the filling but strong enough to hold it all in!
Light and bouncy textured skin holding the durians in it.
It simply just melts in your mouth!!!
Chinese press featuring D'King
D’king has been available by telephone order in Malaysia since 2012 and caters to a list of loyal
customers. The durian mooncake had really taken off in China and Hong Kong, and is a favourite
amongst several celebrities there. During the official visit by President of China Xi Jinping to Putrajaya Residence in 2013, D’king was honoured to showcase products made from the King of Fruits, including the D’King durian mooncake.
