Thai Buffet for Break of Fast

This year, Palm Garden Hotel is not presenting one, but two delicious choices to break fast during the coming Ramadan. The first choice is the all-time favourite buffet at Palms Cafe themed "RAMADAN KAMPUNGLICIOUS" which is available from 17 May until 13 June 2018. However for this year, we also introduce the Thai Buffet at Aroi Dee Restaurant to atempt your tastebuds which is available from 18th May until 13 June 2018.

Buffet at Palms Cafe: 17th May - 13 June 2018

Buffet at Aroi Dee Restaurant: 18th May - 13th June 2018

Pricing is as follow: 

Adult: RM68 nett

Child: RM40 nett

*Early birds wristbands are also available for sale until the 17th May 2018 to enjoy rates at only RM58 nett per adult and RM34 nett per child.

This Thai Buffet at Aroi Dee will definitely whet your appetite for break fast. For appetizers, there are the popular Thai Som Tam, pandan chicken and pak nam prik kapi to name a few.

With a simple but captivating menu, Chef Seeri and Randy excites the tastebuds with daily Thai soups such as Clear Prawn Tom Yam and follows on with main dishes such as Saute Prawns with Tamarind sauce, stir fried beef in green curry, stir fried lala with fresh chili and basil leaves, Thai fried rice and more.

For dessert, there are puer joy with water chestnut in coconut cream, bualoy, varieties of Thai desserts and more!

Al fresco BBQ buffet @ Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort Putrajaya

Recently I was invited to dine at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort Putrajaya which is available every friday and saturday from 7PM onwards.

With their Al Fresco themed this year which is perfect to set the mood right for your weekend to relax and unwind from the busy work week while enjoying the grills and a pine of beer to wash down the seafood and meats :)  

The barbeque is a bustle of activies with chef manning the barbeque pit to help you grill your favourite seafood and meats! Read through for more grillings! :)

Ramadan month (Fasting month) is just around the corner again! If you're a Malaysian like I do, you'll probably be looking forward to this month too! 

Why do I say so? 

Simply because of the FOOD that is offered! Only within this period of 1 month, you'll see many Malay street snacks which is so yummy! More to it, there will also be buffet spreads especially during the evenings of this months during "BUKA PUASA" 

Recently, my foodie friends and I got an invite for a review at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort City. It was totally worth the drive up to Putrajaya! Wanna know why? Read on! HAHA!

 Here at Ramadan Warisan Buffet, Executive Sous Chef Sim Hoong Sam and his team goes the extra mile to bring you flavours from Malaysia's different ethnic cultures and traditions such as Ikan Sembilang Salai Masak Lemak, "Asam pedas" squid with ladies fingers, Kam heong bamboo clams, and Udang goreng Kandar just to name a few. Sought after favourites of Palm Garden Hotel such as Roast Lamb with spices and herbs, Kawah with Kari Kepala Ikan, beef and chicken satay and more will be available on a daily basis!

Kawah Kari Kepala Ikan ( MUST TRY!!)

Being one of Palm Garden's Hotel favourite, this dish is worth to try! I had 2 bowls of this kepala ikan to myself that night! It was that good. To those fish head lovers, this might just be the dish for you!
