Got the opportunity to try out this Michelin Awarded Roasted Goose at Wan Chai, Hennessy Road today - Kam's Roast Goose.
We did a little research on some of the best places to try out Roasted Goose here in HK and we came about this eatery which happen to be one of the highly recommended ones here at Wan Chai.
They were awarded with the Michelin Award for 4 consecutive years now! They defended and kept their title in 2018 as well! Kudos!
There will always be a line outside this eatery, so be prepared to wait when you visit. I would advise you probably to come after 2pm after the lunch crowd is over.
No doubt the roast goose is GOOD as expected! Freshly roasted from the
kitchen and served retaining it's juiciness & crispy-ness of its skin!
Not to mentioned, its well marinated too! Totally explains why they
were awarded with their Michelin Award!
On the other hand, I was a little disappointed with their roasted pork here as I felt that the roasted pork served here at Kam's is a little too dry for me compared to the goose. I think it would be better if it has some sauce to go with it and burnt just a little bit more but Hey! It's just my personal opinion.
So do drop by when you're around HK!
Personally I feel it's worth the try when you come by HK despite the
price is a little bit on the high side. Afterall, 148 HKD on an average
for a Micheline Awarded Restaurant totally worth the price!
