FOOD: D'Lee Deli Cafe @ Casa Tropicana

I have heard that Casa Tropicana has been a popular place among youngster especially those "shisha kakis". I personally have rarely come to this area, however, I was here recently for a review at the newly opened D'Lee Deli Cafe ( right beside MJ). If you're looking for a comfy and cozy place for dessert or even just to hangout, this is just the right place for you!

We managed to give their sandwiches a try that night, here's some of the pictures to make you drool!

 Soft shell crab with Wasabi Aioli

Here at D'lee Deli cafe, all their sandwiches are served with fresh and crispy panini bread, salad and a handful of baked potatoes. The added to this really compliments the dish pretty well!

It is almost a must to end the session with some desserts!

This was my personal favorite that night as I love eating cheese and other milky products. 

 Apple crumbled pie with soft served ice cream (MUST TRY!)

This dessert was among the best here at D'lee Deli cafe here! I fell in love with it straight from the first bite itself! The soft vanilla ice compliments the apple crumble perfectly without overpowering it.

 Oreo Cheesecake 

Rich and smooth textured cheesecake that keeps you wanting more!

 Blondie with soft served ice cream

Wondering what "blondie" is? Blondie is somewhat similar to brownies, the difference is, it is made from white chocolate. Served with soft vanilla flavoured ice cream and drizzled with butterscotch sauce.

 Affogato

This wasn't too bad as the espresso shot compliments the smooth vanilla ice-cream pretty well.

Here at D'lee Deli also serve waffles as part of their desserts too! Here's some waffles that we had that night.

All waffles here at D'lee Deli is served with your choice of 1 topping, 1 sauce and 1 soft served ice-cream of your choice!

Toppings 

Banana, blueberries, oreo, strawberry, marshmallow, peanut butter

Sauces

Salted caramel, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, butter scotch, white chocolate

Soft-served ice cream

Vanilla (Flavor of the day)

Belgian waffle served with blueberry and milk chocolate sauce 

Thick and crispy Belgian waffle served with soft vanilla ice cream also not forgetting the generous amount of blueberries too!

 Chocolate waffle served with strawberries & caramel sauce

Banana waffles served with sliced bananas, topped with caramel sauce & soft-served green tea ice cream

Yes! you read that right! It's Green tea ice cream! The green tea ice cream here at D'lee Deli cafe is just perfect being not too sweet or bitter. This dessert is a rather unique combination. i would highly recommend this dessert if you likes banana and green tea like me! 

 Last but not least, they also serve BIG BREAKFAST here!

 Sliced ham, bacons, belgian waffle, lettuce and oven baked potatoes

Sauteed mushroom & eggs of your choice ( omelette, scrambled, or sunny side up)
